I can’t thank Teresa enough for the collaboration on a trip my family has been dreaming about for years. My husband still has family in northern Italy and his parents spend a good chunk of time there a few times a year. We, however, have not been there in 25 years and when we went for our honeymoon back then, we only went to the small (but lovely) town where his family is from. We are sending our second off to college this year and were worried that our “family” vacations with the whole family were coming to an end. So we started exploring. Then my sister-in-law whose kids are the same ages as mine wanted in too. So with a few small things planned, now I was planning for 13 instead of 6. I heard about Teresa and inquired. Well, clearly it was a great choice. EVERYTHING was done. I told her what we were interested in and a few chats and emails later, we had the most amazing trip planned. All we had to do was follow along in the booklet she put together. From portable WiFi that saved us many hundreds from our original plan through our phone carrier (and kept all 9 teens happy), to our train tickets, car rentals, skip the line tours, FANTASTIC tour guides that kept us (even the younger kiddos) fully engaged, great restaurant recommendations, and even little details (like where to wait in the train station when they only post the track minutes before departure!), each day was better than the last. We covered Rome, Pompeii, Sorrento, Tuscany (lots of day trips from one central location....still dreaming of this!), Venice and Bassano del Grappa (with trip to Dolomites) I have been telling everyone about her. Use her!! Now I’m itching to go back to explore some more! I wish we had “semester abroad” options at age 50! I’d be keeping Teresa on speed dial for that!
