Italians are famous for many things and their food and wine certainly rank at the top of any list. A trip to Italy would not be complete without experiencing at least one typical long, relaxed, multi-course meal, washed down with a carafe (or two!) of the local house wine; a trip to a small vineyard where the proud proprietor will explain the labor of love that is creating some of the world’s best wines, followed of course, by a tasting of said wines. And then there is gelato three times per day because…well, because why not? 

For the serious foodies and wine lovers, an entire vacation can be crafted so as to sample all the specialties that different cities or regions have to offer. Seeing the sights can certainly be arranged also, or the food and wine can be destinations all their own.
